The lodge is a ideal for family vacations, spending quality time with friends, romantic getaways, or creating special memories whatever the occasion. The property and its surroundings are beautiful in any season, whether it's watching spring burst back to life, during the warmer summer months, amidst autumn colours, or on a clear frosty winter's day with the snow-covered Ben Rinnes mountain overlooking the Spey valley. Whatever the time of year you will find Glenburn provides comfortable, spacious and modern accommodation for up to six guests and their four-legged friends.

Looking for additional accomodation for larger parties holidaying together? Take a look at Glenburn's sister lodge, Ballin Dhu, where you'll find room for up to another six guests, plus an EV charger if you drive electric.

I hope that you find Glenburn as enchanting as I do.

Your host, Lorna

Uninterrupted views of the Spey and the 1863 bridge from the garden

outdoors

The property sits within its own garden grounds overlooking the River Spey, including a private driveway for up to 3 cars. An extensive wrap-around decking area means that you can follow the sun from dawn to dusk (provided the Scottish weather agrees!). There are plenty of outdoor seating options, including a large outdoor dining set to accomodate all guests. If al fresco cooking is your thing, there's a charcoal BBQ for guests to use.

The garden is fully and securely fenced, making it ideal for children and dogs. Pets are welcome by arrangement, and there is plenty opportunity for beautiful riverside walks on the doorstep. The gate at the bottom of the garden takes you towards the Speyside Way where guests can turn right towards Aberlour or left towards Grantown-on-Spey for many miles of safe exploring on foot or bicycle. A 5-minute walk will see you sitting on the banks of the 'whisky river' watching the world go by. Take time to look around and you stand a good chance of spotting the local wildlife, including red squirrels, otters, jumping salmon, deer, hares and rabbits, and many species of birds and birds of prey. Back at the lodge you can sit under the stars on clear nights and, when conditions are right, the Northern Lights are visible from the garden.
